Another character driven song. About a young man whose family sees his creativity as an abomination rather than an apparition. Where he sees love, they see lust. Eventually he writes his own end, and joins his storyland- family.
Pablo’s habits
They got him scorned
But he learned his lessons
Now he shoots “porn”
Out in his car
Alone in the streets
Artistically broke
A genius in need
Maybe you’ve heard of ‘Lost Love’?
Well it was burned to CD
In it, the coal lamps dampen
Because of sweat and debris
And all the fingers in soil
From above and beneath
Lovers digging
Never to reach
But from above: are the, bells ringing, or do we just keep digging?
The plot thickens
When Pablo tightens his belt
And the zeros and ones
Start to feel like felt
He screams you’ll live in my heart
There’s no need for a key
Cause the door is an ocean
And that ocean is me
Chorus x2
The oxygen’s faint
And they all start to bleed
All the long stares deepen
Because the miners see
The flashlights, looks like
Some kind of studio B
Nope just a zephyr, out on the street
Empty but Pablo, amid scene three
Chorus X6
